Client-side playbook unlock

The firm playbook stays encrypted in S3 until this browser session fetches the encrypted package, reads the unlock file from your removable key-fob, and decrypts the plaintext only in volatile memory.

After sign-in, Filmore requests only manifest metadata and a short-lived signed download URL. The Brain never receives archive decryption power.

Playbook editor

Playbook editing happens entirely in the browser after you unlock the current playbook with the key fob. You can then edit the plaintext here and export a fresh encrypted package for S3 plus a replacement USB unlock file.

Invite administration

Administrator access is based on your Filmore user record. When administrator MFA is enabled, Filmore now asks for your authenticator code once when you open the admin area.

Before you can create invites, enroll Microsoft Authenticator or another TOTP app once for your admin account.

Invite creation stays disabled until MFA verification succeeds for this administrator session.

Start enrollment first, then add the generated secret to Microsoft Authenticator or another TOTP app.

Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app to finish enrollment.

Unlock admin area

Enter your current 6-digit authenticator code once to unlock invite administration for this signed-in session.

You will only be asked for this when opening the admin area.

Create a new invite

Assign the invited email to its firm identifier here. Existing invites can be disabled and later re-enabled if you need to resend the invite email.

Use this note for matter team, department, or another internal reason for the invite.
